His childhood was split between school, hockey, golf, and helping in his family’s electrical contracting business. After earning his degree in Business Administration from the University of Scranton, he stepped into a leadership role and became the company’s Chief Executive Officer in 2013.
As CEO of Kuharchik Construction, Rob grew the company to more than 150 employees and expanded its capabilities in power distribution and intelligent transportation systems. Under his leadership, the company proudly employed union labor and played a critical role in restoring power after natural disasters across the United States, including hurricanes, floods, and severe winter storms.
In addition to leading Kuharchik Construction, Rob founded a real estate development group focused on revitalizing and repurposing buildings for small businesses and housing throughout NEPA. In 2018, he was recognized by the Northeastern Pennsylvania Business Journal as one of its 20 Under 40 Best and Brightest in Business.
Rob’s commitment to his community extends far beyond business. He has served as President of the Luzerne County SPCA and held board positions with the Catholic Youth Center, Junior Achievement, Forty Fort Cemetery Association, the National Electrical Contractors Association, the Luzerne County Industrial Development Authority, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeastern Pennsylvania. He also completed a marathon to raise funds for pediatric services at a regional healthcare nonprofit, combining his passion for fitness with his dedication to giving back.
Before coming to Congress, Rob served as Chairman of the Joint Apprentice Training Committee, was a Trustee for the IBEW 163 Health, Wellness, and Annuity Funds, and acted as Treasurer for tecBridge, a nonprofit supporting entrepreneurship and innovation across the region.
Elected to the 119th Congress as the representative for Pennsylvania’s 8th District, Rob serves on the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure as Vice Chair of the Subcommittee on Highways and Transit. He also serves on both the House Committee on Agriculture and the House Committee on Small Business.
In his first eight months in office, Rob has introduced 10 bills and cosponsored 94 others, focusing on strengthening the local economy, expanding access to affordable healthcare, supporting family farmers, and advancing bipartisan solutions that put people before politics. He has championed initiatives to improve infrastructure, invest in workforce training, and support veterans and military families.
Rob is an active member of several caucuses including the Problem Solvers Caucus, Build America Caucus, Modern Agriculture Caucus, Congressional Apprenticeship Caucus, Aviation Safety Caucus, and Fentanyl Prevention Caucus.
Outside of Washington, Rob enjoys life at home in Northeastern Pennsylvania with his wife Chelsea and their playful gray cat Blue. A licensed helicopter pilot, Rob often takes to the skies, combining his fascination with aviation and his love of adventure.

United States Representative
Nine generations ago, Ryan’s first ancestor settled in our area and fought in the Northampton County Militia during the Revolutionary War. Through the years, his family’s commitment to service has continued on…with family members helping build companies like Hercules Cement, serving our nation in both World Wars, and serving here at home in professions like teaching and nursing.
Ryan has continued that commitment to serving others in his own life as our U.S. Congressman and as a State Representative before that – standing strong for local residents and the people of Pennsylvania.
In Congress, Ryan is keeping his promise to the people of the 7th Congressional District by supporting policies that grow our economy, protect taxpayers, address affordability, address illegal immigration, improve our nation’s safety, and preserve services for those who truly need them. Today, he serves on three committees in the U.S. House: Education and Workforce, Foreign Affairs, and Homeland Security. He also serves as Chairman of the Workforce Protections Subcommittee and as a member of several other subcommittees relating to education, counterterrorism, international relations, and more.
Of course, getting results for us in Washington is just a continuation of Ryan’s proven record of public service as a State Representative. In that role, he brought people together and passed bipartisan initiatives into law. Ryan’s accomplishments as State Representative include ensuring our first responders receive the recognition and support they deserve, reforming our tax system to help grow our economy, ensuring fiscal discipline to protect taxpayers, improving maternal healthcare and healthcare related to strokes, and much more.
Most importantly, Ryan truly understands the concerns of 7th District residents.
A local guy who graduated from Parkland High School near the top of his class, he then received his undergraduate degree, with honors, in Finance and International Business from New York University, and earned his MBA from Harvard Business School.
Long involved in several charities and nonprofit organizations in our community, Ryan served on the executive council of the Lehigh Career & Technical Institute, the board of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, and the boards of other non-profits that provide affordable housing for seniors and helped individuals with special needs.
Ryan and his wife, Chloe, live in Lower Macungie Township with their son, Leo, newborn daughter, Celine, and rescue hound dog, Ruckus.

Retired U.S. Army Reserve Colonel, businesswoman, and our Commonwealth’s 78th Treasurer, Stacy Garrity has lived a life of service to her nation, her Commonwealth, and her community.
In uniform, Stacy rose to the rank of Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve, serving three deployments in defense of our nation—from Operation Desert Storm to Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.
While prisoner abuse scandals raged, it was Stacy Garrity who emerged as a national leader in managing internment camps for enemy combatants, keeping the camp secure and American troops safe without a single complaint of abuse from Iraqi soldiers interned on her watch. Stacy was twice awarded the Bronze Star and received the Legion of Merit, being hailed as the “Angel of the Desert” for her service.
At home, Stacy Garrity emerged as a groundbreaking Pennsylvania business leader, rising from accountant at Global Tungsten & Powders Corp. to becoming one of the first two female vice presidents at the company.
Now, as our Commonwealth’s Treasurer, Stacy has focused on cutting waste, eliminating taxpayer abuse, and bringing transparency to Pennsylvania’s government. She understands firsthand the challenges hardworking Pennsylvania families face and brings the same common sense people use to manage their own finances to the Treasurer’s Office.
Stacy works every day to protect more than $170 billion in state assets, serving as a fiscal watchdog for programs like Pennsylvania’s 529 College & Career Savings Program, where account holders have saved nearly $17 million on her watch. For her leadership in spearheading the PA ABLE Savings Program for individuals with disabilities, Stacy was elected the inaugural Chair of the national ABLE Savings Plans Network by her fellow state treasurers.
Stacy’s work as Treasurer has directly touched the lives of millions of Pennsylvania families, with more than $1 billion in unclaimed property returned to rightful owners and nearly $10 million returned to taxpayers through the Treasury’s Money Match program. Each year, the Treasury saves Pennsylvania taxpayers nearly $50 million by identifying overpayments and duplicate payments to the Commonwealth. As a veteran, Stacy is also focused on returning military decorations safeguarded in the Treasury’s vault, having returned more than 450 decorations to veterans or their families, including 11 Purple Hearts and 3 Bronze Stars.
Now, Stacy Garrity is running for Governor to continue her service to Pennsylvania as our Commonwealth’s 49th Governor. She will apply the lessons learned and experiences gained as a successful businesswoman, soldier, and public servant to make Pennsylvania the Keystone State to grow a business and raise a family.
For all that Stacy has accomplished, she has never forgotten where she came from. A native of Bradford County, Stacy is a graduate of Sayre High School and Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, later receiving a certificate from the Cornell University Business Management Institute. She serves on the board of the Bradford County United Way and is a trustee of Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre. Above all, Stacy is most proud to be the wife of her husband Daniel and a faithful member of the Christian Life Church.
