Welcome to MONROE COUNCIL OF REPUBLICAN WOMEN

who we are
Founded in 1948, the Monroe Council of Republican Women is a grassroots organization dedicated to empowering women from all backgrounds to take an active role in the political process. For more than seven decades, we have provided a forum where women can learn, engage, and lead while advancing the principles of responsible government, civic duty, and individual liberty.
We are proud to be part of a long-standing tradition of Republican women’s organizations that strengthen communities by encouraging thoughtful participation in public life and supporting strong, ethical leadership.
Whether you are new to civic involvement or a longtime advocate for conservative values, the Monroe Council of Republican Women offers a place to connect, contribute, and lead. We welcome women who want to make a difference, stay informed, and play an active role in shaping the future of our community.
Together, we continue a proud tradition that began in 1948 and carries forward into the next generation of women leaders.
OUR PURPOSE
The Monroe Council of Republican Women exists to educate, engage, and empower women to become informed participants in government and public affairs. We believe that a healthy democracy depends on citizens who understand the issues, the process, and their role in shaping the future.
Through meetings, events, guest speakers, and community outreach, we provide opportunities for women to expand their knowledge, voice their opinions, and connect with leaders at the local, state, and national levels.

Civic Engagement & Education
A core part of our mission is promoting civic education and public participation. We encourage respectful dialogue, informed discussion, and active involvement in Borough, Township, County, and State government. By connecting members with candidates, elected officials, and policy discussions, we help ensure that women’s voices are heard and respected in the public square.
We also encourage attendance at public meetings, participation in elections, and engagement in the democratic process at every level.
Leadership Through Service
We are committed to creating pathways for women to serve as leaders in the political arena. Whether that means running for office, serving on boards and committees, volunteering on campaigns, or simply becoming more informed voters, our organization provides a supportive environment where women can grow their confidence and influence.
Our members come from all walks of life, united by a shared desire to contribute positively to their community and to the future of Monroe County and Pennsylvania.

Our Values
The Monroe Council of Republican Women is guided by the principles of integrity, accountability, and service. We believe in transparency in government, ethical leadership, and the importance of protecting the rights and freedoms that form the foundation of our nation.
Our organization is built on the idea that when women are informed, involved, and empowered, communities become stronger and government becomes more responsive to the people it serves.
